We're still thinking about our event last week with Lara Williams; it was dreamy! Thank you to everyone who came down and listened to Lara read from her fantastic debut novel 'Supper Club' and Mary Gaitskill's 'Bad Behaviour'.
One of the highlights of the evening really was the enthusiasm and participation of the audience. Everybody asked really insightful questions and were curious in all the right ways about Lara's writing process and what drove her to become a writer. Lara gave nuanced, funny, thoughtful answers to match her prose and it was a joy to hear about her journey.
Special thanks to Mojoes for hosting us and creating the spectacular cocktail just for the night. Whiskey and fresh berries: a perfect side dish to the text! All the staff were fabulous and so helpful in the organisation so huge thank you to them. We'll certainly be collaborating for events again so keep your eyes peeled on our Twitter and Mojoes' for news of upcoming events.

It's a stunning novel worth everybody's time.
